A few of our favorite things…

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens ; bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens  – Yes! Indeed these are fantastic things. But have you seen the cards we’re selling by the AMAZING Katie Elizabeth Lettering & Design??? We are obsessed! Fun, colorful and a guaranteed chuckle.

Speaking of crazy obsessions…check out my best friends turquoise jewelry handmade in Tucson. I met Suzy, founder of High & Dry Jewelry Design years ago when we both worked at the Pike Place Market in Seattle. Always interested in jewelry design, Suzy has grown into an amazing silversmith showcasing her talents across the country.

What else makes us go bonkers? Well, our Bee Kind tanks & tees from Henrietta’s Garden  have made quite a sting this season. Seems like everyone is in the mood to spread a little kindness. (Sweatshirts might be a fun fall item, don’t ya think?)

What better way to preserve those summertime feels than putting them on display? When California artist Morgan Hartley is not riding the waves she’s capturing them in her beautiful photography. Her prints will come in handy during those occasional gloomy winter days New England is famous for!

So what’s fall bringing to 26 Prince Street other than apple cider and wooly sweaters? So much fun! Hand-dyed dog leashes, cute and creative ornaments and decadent chocolates. Yep, and so much more. Come by and see what we have in store!

And we have a sign!!!

Summertime is flying!

Where has the time gone? It seems crazy that Loft & Vine has already been open for 2 months. We’ve been having a great time meeting locals living in the North End and other parts of Boston. Not to mention the tourists that flood Hanover Street (for those of you who have not visited the North End, it truly is a FLOOD of tourists).

Although I wish summer could stay around a little longer, our indoor seed kits are ready to go on sale.  All of our seed kits that we sell from Urban Agriculture and Modern Sprout are 20% off.

Don’t forget we have the Urban Agriculture Cocktail Kits…on sale now as well. These are the perfect gift for the cocktail lover in your life.

Outdoor fun can go on throughout September/October here in New England so how about one of these classic summer games… Croquet or Bocce? These guys are 25% and make for a creative gift!

So, enjoy the lazy, hazy days of July and August…and hopefully we get a nice, warm September. We’re busy here looking for exciting new treats for Loft & Vine. And as always, if you have any suggestions about what you’d like us to carry, please email us today!

What a Welcoming!

Big thanks to all who came out this past Saturday to welcome Loft & Vine to the neighborhood! It was so fun getting to meet local North Enders and tourists in from London, Germany, New York, and of course lots of Cubbie fans who were here for the weekend games vs our beloved Sox.

So now it’s time we focus on those mothers! We have lots of fantastic mom’s day gifts ready and waiting for you to pick up this week. We’re open 11-7 Tuesday-Saturday and 12-5 Sunday. Stop by and say hi and find mom a special treat!

It’s Happening!

The space is being painted, the inventory is in…YIKES this is happening! Yes we here at loft & vine are super excited to announce that we will be opening this Saturday, April 29th!

So, are we ready? Of course not! We have a zillion things to do before Saturday but we are rockin’ it. The music is turned up, the coffee is flowing through our veins and we are pricing, cleaning, and hoping for a beautiful day on Saturday. The doors will be open to greet the day and the start of something BIG!

So, if you happen to be in the area on Saturday (or any day after!) please pop in to check out the shop. We’d LOVE to see you!

Spring is coming…

…and we can’t wait! We’re painting the walls, cleaning the displays, and ordering product that will knock your socks off. A little dramatic, but I suppose not impossible.

So what is Loft & Vine and why is it moving into the North End, home to all things yummy and delicious? Well, it’s a home decor shop, filled (or at least will be filled!) with unique and fun treasures to create your happy space at home. Going to a cocktail party and need a little hostess gift? You’ll find it here. Looking for the perfect birthday gift, yes indeed.

But what if you need a can opener?  Yes. L&V it’s a shop you can get your most needed kitchen supplies…like a can opener, or wine opener or letter opener. No, probably not a letter opener.

But wait…haven’t mentioned the best part. Flowers, Succulents, Garden Tools, oh my. Ok, I know this is a city, but us city folk need to garden too! So L&V will provide you with all the tools you need to start your own garden, whether it be in your kitchen ( yes you can grow inside!) or on your deck, or a patio. Wherever you want to grow, you can grow. OR, maybe you are not interested in growing a thing…you can still come by and a pick up a bunch of tulips (no getting your hands dirty there!).

So, hold on till May…I know you can. I’m so SUPER excited to get this show on the road. See you in May!
